Adding Records

To add new records, click the  button on the toolbar, click the New button in the upper-right corner of the browse window, select File  New … from the main menu or the context menu (see Context Menus), or press the Shift+Ins key combination. The New button and menu options will only be enabled if the user has Edit access rights to the browse module (see User Security). If the program is an evaluation edition then a maximum of only 200 records may be added in each module. Up to eight view or edit windows may be open simultaneously for each module.

When adding a new record, an empty edit window will open. Enter data and click the Save button to save changes. Click the Close/Cancel button or press the Esc key to quit without saving changes.
