Importing Serial Number Notices

This data import will import records for the Serial Number Notices setup module (see Serial Number Notices).

Imported Fields

Imported FieldsAYS Field	Field Name Matching	Notes and Data Validation
Make	Make	Notice make. A text string of up to 30 characters. This field will only be imported for licensed users of version 2.1 or higher.
Model	Model	Notice model. A text string of up to 40 characters. This field will only be imported for licensed users of version 2.1 or higher.
Serial Number	SerialNumber, SerialNo, SerNo, Ser, or No	Notice serial number or start of serial number range. A text string of up to 20 characters for licensed users of version 2.1 and higher, or up to 15 characters for all other versions. It is a required field and may not be empty.
End of Range	EndOfRange, End, or Range	End of serial number range. A text string of up to 20 characters. It must be empty (for an individual serial number), or greater than the starting serial number. This field will only be imported for licensed users of version 2.4 or higher.
Category	Category, Cat, or Ctgy	Notice category. A text string of up to 50 characters.
Notice	Notice or Not	Notice. An unlimited text string.

If an existing record with matching data from the make field, the model field, and the serial number field is found then that record will be updated.

Importing serial number notices is not available in the Repair Micro edition.
