Setup Send Repair Status Listing Reports

While processing is stopped, select Setup  Repair Statuses  Setup Send Repair Status Listing Reports from the main menu to open the send repair status listing reports setup area. Enter repair status listing report settings and click the Save button to save changes. Click the Close/Cancel button or press the Esc key to quit without saving changes. Each form section and entry field is discussed in the following sections.

In addition to this setup module, the e-mail and fax communication settings must be configured (see Communication Options - E-mail Tab, and Communication Options - Fax Tab).

Also, repair status listing reports may be disabled for individual customers by configuring options on the corresponding customer accounts (see Customer - Internet Utility Tab).

Repair Status Listing Reports - Status Reports via E-mail Tab

Select the Status Reports via E-mail tab to configure sending of repair status listing reports via e-mail.

Description

Send Daily Status Reports to Customer Accounts via E-mail

Check this box to enable sending of daily repair status listing reports to customers via e-mail. Uncheck this box (the system default) to disable sending of repair status listing reports via e-mail. If this field is unchecked then the remaining fields will be disabled.

Log each status report e-mailed

Check this box (the system default) if a message should be recorded in the log file as each repair status listing report is sent via e-mail. Uncheck this box if no messages are to be recorded.

Do not send status reports by e-mail if the Customer Account has a fax number

Check this box to prioritize sending of repair status listing reports via fax ahead of sending them via e-mail (i.e. send via e-mail only if there is an e-mail address on the customer account, but no fax number on the customer account).

This field is available only for licensed users of version 2.5 and higher.

Days to Send

Check each day of the week that repair status listing reports should be sent to customers via e-mail. Repair status listing reports are only sent out on a particular day if that day is selected both here, and on the Internet Utility tab for each corresponding customer account (see Customer - Internet Utility Tab).

The days from Monday through Friday may only be deselected for licensed users of version 3.0 and higher.

Message to send with the status report

Enter a custom message that is to be included on the repair status listing report e-mail.

This field is available only for licensed users of version 2.5 and higher.

Repair Status Listing Reports - Status Reports via Fax Tab

Select the Status Reports via Fax tab to configure sending of repair status listing reports via fax. Sending repair status listing reports via fax is available only for licensed users of version 2.5 and higher.
