If users have entered various advertising methods inconsistently, they can be standardized through a few simple steps. When opening the advertising methods setup area, answer Yes to extract newly entered advertising methods if this option has been enabled (see module option “Prompt to extract newly entered Advertising Methods” under Setup Module Options). Then browse through the list and correct any variances by editing each incorrect record and typing in what the advertising method should have been, even if it is already in the list. Make sure that the Update existing Repair Order and Sales Invoice records box is checked before saving. All customer, repair order, and sales invoice records will automatically be updated with the correct advertising method so that your data is consistent.
