Setting Default Warranty Terms

The default warranty for new repair orders may be set under module options (see module option “Default Warranty for New Repair Orders” under Repair Order Module Options).

When entering a make and model on a new repair order, the warranty will default to the one set up on the Default Estimate tab of the corresponding make and model record (see Editing Makes and Models).

Archiving of Records that are Under Warranty

When archiving old records, repair orders that are still under warranty may optionally be excluded from the archive process (see Archiving an Access Database).
