Repair Orders Awaiting Parts

This report is a list of repair orders awaiting parts, plus the purchase status of any parts on order that have been linked to those repair orders (see Repair Orders/Invoices, and Purchase Orders). It is printed in landscape orientation.

The report may be sorted by repair order number, reference 1, reference 2, make and model, date received, customer account number, or customer name. And it may be filtered by customer, purchase vendor, make, and business location.

Report Option Fields

Field

Description

Customer

Enter an assigned customer account number for which to generate the report, 0 for miscellaneous customer accounts, or leave blank for all customers. Optionally, select the customer name for which to generate the report.

Vendor

Enter an assigned purchase vendor account number for which to generate the report, 0 for miscellaneous vendor accounts, or leave blank for all vendors. Optionally, select the purchase vendor name for which to generate the report. This report option is available only in the Repair SQL, Repair, and Repair Mobile editions.

Make

Enter or select the make for which to generate the report or leave blank for all makes.

Bus. Location

Enter or select the business location for which to generate the report or leave blank for all business locations. This report option is not available in the Repair Lite and Repair Micro editions.

Sort by

Select the desired sort order, either by repair order number (the system default), by reference 1, by reference 2, by make and model, by date received, by customer account number, or by customer name.

 

For the purchase status of parts on order to be included on this report, each part must be linked to the repair order for which that part was ordered. To link an ordered part to a repair order, enter one or more repair order numbers separated by a space or a comma in the Reference column of the purchase order detail line where that part was ordered (see Purchase Order - Details Tab).

NOTE   To print this report from a Microsoft SQL Server database may require Create View rights for the corresponding database (see Configuring User Security on Microsoft SQL Server).

This report is not available in the Retail SQL and Retail editions. The purchase status of parts is not available in the Repair Lite and Repair Micro editions.
